Garden Weddings in Geyserville

Geyserville Inn Weddings and Events

From the bride:

Our wedding took place in the quaint town of Geyserville on a warm June afternoon. It was an outdoor ceremony and reception. We were surrounded by beautiful vineyards and rolling hills. The inspiration for our wedding was rustic and romantic with a tough of bohemian flare. Our primary colors were blush and navy with pops of ivory, gold, and magenta. Our favorite decorative elements at the wedding were our custom made chalkboards made by our dear friend and artist Kristy Neufeld (chalkgypsy.com). They added the perfect touch!

We believe that our friendship and strong respect for one another makes us unique as a couple. After graduating from College our jobs took us to different cities. We have always supported each other and continued to do so as we entered into a long distance relationship. For the 3 years we did long distance our relationship never weakened. In fact it only got stronger. I truly believe that our love, friendship, and respect for each other kept our relationship strong throughout those years.

Chase and I met working together while going to college at Chico State. We both worked at S&S Natural Produce Market. He worked in the butcher shop and I was a cashier. We became quick friends and spent most of our time flirting with one another. About a year after meeting we turned our friendship into a relationship, fell in love, and were inseparable. 7 years later we were ready to tie the knot! It was the perfect time in our lives to get married and it was well worth the wait. Chase proposed in Bodgea Bay which is one of our favorite vacationing spots. He completely surprised me as he popped the question in front of a huge fire on the beach. It was one of the happiest moments of my life. We were ready to spend the rest of our lives together!

Our biggest piece of advice to other brides and grooms would be to not stress the small stuff! The planning process can be stressful as well as the day of. What you want to remember is how much fun you had planing and what an amazing wedding day you had. Things will inevitably go wrong and what matters is how you deal with it. Don't let it ruin the moment or stress you out. This is one of the best days of your life and it truly flies by. Enjoy every minute of it and take time to stop, breathe, and take it all in. One of my favorite moments was during the ceremony when I took a minute to look at all of our friends and family that were there to support us. The feeling of unconditional love was overwhelming and I will never forget that moment.
